Reptile, Amphibian and Insect Anatomy Models

For some people, the word “insect” or “reptile” brings to mind creepy, crawling creatures, but for your friends at Anatomy Warehouse, these words just recall images of fascinating animals! Snakes and lizards are important to our ecosystem, after all. Did you know that frogs are vital to our survival as a species? Frogs are considered a bioindicator, which basically means that they let us know if our environment is unhealthy. Frogs have lived in their current form for more than 250 million years – If they are unhealthy or dying out, something must be wrong! It’s interesting to think about what other species help keep our world healthy, or let us know when it might not be.

The Female Edible Frog Model Mounted on Base is one of our favorite frog models, displayed as if it were in its natural habitat. It is life size, but contrary to its name, you should not try to eat it! The model is wonderful as an addition to décor or as a study aid.

Is your child interested in biology? Our Green Turtle 4D Anatomy Puzzle is a great gift! It is easy enough for kids to complete but visually interesting. It makes a wonderful stocking stuffer at the holidays.

Anatomy Warehouse loves animals, and wants to help those who study them! Contact our support team with any questions about these and other offerings in our collection.
