Why we love it: The lite version is wonderful and teaches about the skeleton and human organs. The app quizzes users about the various parts of human anatomy in four languages (English, French, German, and Spanish). It’s recommended for anatomical study in high school, colleges, and medical schools, and you can upgrade to the full version for just $3! The developers also have another free app called Speed Bones Lite and *more apps for under $3.
Musculoskeletal System by 3D4Medical.com, LLC
Compatible with: iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad with iOS 3.0 and up
Why we love it: This anatomy app has high quality 3D anatomical images available for free. But the best part must be the personalized quiz questions. Every quiz is uniquely created for you, and you can set up features to makes the tests timed, include sounds, and more. The down side is that it may be easy for an advanced student of human anatomy, but they have an option to purchase more questions for a low price.

Why we love it: This is your quick go-to educational reference for human anatomy. The app has information from 16 biological systems, including the endocrine, lymphatic, muscular system, urinary, and others. With the touch of a button you can access Wikipedia articles for all the parts of human anatomy.

Why we love it: You can use this anatomy app to study general human anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and see images that get you more familiar with MRI and CT scans.
