This is a great exercise poster for our home gym. It clearly shows not only the correct exercise position, but the muscles used with each exercise. If one wants to strengthen individual muscle groups for a certain sport activity, or for a certain injury or chronic condition,this shows the location of each of the muscles in the muscle group (three separate gluteal muscles). Knowing and visualizing the exercise muscle action, rather than blindly just doing the exercise, seems to have a type of placebo affect. The visualization of the working of that muscle as it improves strength seems to reduce the discomfort or stretch of the muscle. Perhaps because the focus is elsewhere. (Posted on 6/21/13)
